OUR CHOIR

Music Ministry at CBC

We at CBC are so proud of our music ministry and love adding to the joyful and prayerful experience of our services. We are always open to new members, so feel free to join us at any time. Our music ministry is such an important part of CBC life. Our choir, currently comprised of around fifteen members, are dedicated to their craft and share a love of music, mutual love and support, and the reverence and joy of singing as a group. Some are professional musicians, while others just love being part of our ensemble. We sing an anthem at every Sunday service, both traditional and more contemporary pieces, most in four-part harmony and some a cappella. We rehearse each week after the service. We have a pipe organ, a beautiful baby grand piano, and a set of bells for pieces involving those instruments. Some of our anthems and special music add other instruments played by choir members or fellow parishioners. CBC also has a children’s choir who perform periodically during our worship service, in conjunction with our Sunday School.
